Content :

Democracy  :

Democracy is the system of government that started in Ancient Greece which enabled people of certain country to vote for their representatives through period elections.

It is a system of government where by the people vote for some people to represent them in government for a given period of time

Social Justice :

Social Justice is a situation in the society whereby everybody is treated equally without preference in the presence of the state legal system

 

Social Injustice :

Social injustice is a situation in the society whereby everybody is not treated equally in the presence of the law.

 

What are pressure groups? 

Pressure groups are groups of professionals with the same work descriptions and interests that come together to form groups or associations with the aim and purpose of protecting and safeguarding the interests of their members

 

Examples of Pressure Groups In Nigeria

  5. Pressure groups give advice to government in power about policies that will benefit their members
  6. Pressure groups give give specialised and expert information to government officials
  7. Pressure groups act as check and balance when it comes to government policies
  8. They educate their members and members of the public as well by organising seminars.
