• Say the steps to be taken in case of emergency

Entry Behaviour :

• learners are expected to be able to mention some of the emergency agency in Nigeria
• some of the learners are familiar with the Nigeria Police
• Police is your friend

Content :

WEEK THREE

RESPONSE TO EMERGENCY

The following are some of the responses to emergency {ROAD ACCIDENT }

• Call the FRSC ,the police and other security agents
• Give first aid to victims if you can
• Make effort to control the traffic so that caregivers can easily get to the scene
• stop at the scene of the accident
• Turn off your engine ,leave your hazard light on to alert on  coming traffic to the accident
• stay as calm as possible do not shout on scream
• Take pictures or video of the scene if possible
• Call the emergency lines,
• take the victims to the nearest hospital

The class teacher allows the pupils to give their own examples and he corrects them when the needs arise

3. State and explain three causes of road accident

Conclusion :

The subject teacher wraps up the topic by giving the learners short notes on the topic that he or she has just taught the students
