A Day at Tarkwa Bay Beach

Tarkwa Bay Beach is a special place in Lagos. It’s a lovely beach with golden sand, clear blue water, and the sound of waves crashing on the shore. Many families visit this beach on weekends to enjoy the beauty of nature.

One sunny Saturday, a family from Lagos decided to spend a day at Tarkwa Bay Beach. They woke up early and packed their beach bags. The children, Tunde and Ada, were very excited.

As they arrived at the beach, they spread their colorful beach towels on the sand. Tunde and Ada built sandcastles and collected seashells. Their father set up a beach umbrella to give them some shade, and their mother unpacked a delicious picnic.

Tunde and Ada’s father told them about the lighthouse at Tarkwa Bay. It’s a tall tower with a bright light on top that helps boats find their way in the dark. The family decided to visit the lighthouse after lunch.

Before heading to the lighthouse, they enjoyed a tasty picnic with sandwiches, fruit, and cold drinks. The children also had ice cream, a special treat for the day.

After their meal, they walked along the shore and watched the waves. They saw fishermen with their colorful boats, and the children were amazed by the big ships far out in the ocean.

At last, they reached the lighthouse. Tunde and Ada climbed the stairs with their parents, and from the top, they could see the entire Tarkwa Bay. It was a breathtaking view!

As the sun began to set, they knew it was time to head home. Tunde and Ada were tired but happy. They had a wonderful day at Tarkwa Bay Beach, full of fun, learning, and beautiful memories.
