  2. Proteins: These are foods that help us grow and repair our bodies. They include meat, fish, eggs, beans, and nuts.
  3. Fruits and Vegetables: These are foods that provide vitamins and minerals that our body needs to stay healthy. Examples include apples, oranges, bananas, broccoli, carrots, and spinach.
  4. Fats: These are foods that provide us with energy and help our body absorb vitamins. Examples include butter, oil, cheese, and nuts.

Here are some examples of foods in each class:

It’s important to eat a variety of foods from each class to ensure that our bodies get all the nutrients we need

Other classification of food that are worthy of made mention are

  1. Vitamins: Vitamins are substances that our bodies need in order to function properly. They are found in foods like fruits, vegetables, and grains. There are many different vitamins, and each one plays a different role in our health. For example, vitamin C helps our immune system fight off infections, while vitamin D helps our body absorb calcium for strong bones. Eating a variety of fruits and vegetables is a great way to make sure you get all the vitamins your body needs.
  2. Fats and oils: Fats and oils are types of nutrients that our bodies need, but we should try to eat them in moderation. They provide energy and help our body absorb certain vitamins. Examples of healthy fats include avocado, nuts, and fish. Some unhealthy fats include butter and bacon. It’s important to choose healthy fats and oils and eat them in small amounts.
  3. Water: Water is a very important nutrient that our bodies need to stay healthy. It helps us digest food, transport nutrients, and remove waste from our bodies. We should drink plenty of water throughout the day, especially when we are active or when it’s hot outside. It’s a good idea to carry a reusable water bottle with you so you can stay hydrated wherever you go. Other sources of water include fruits and vegetables, soups, and broths.
