There are two major seasons in Nigeria which are the Dry season and the Wet season.

The idea of the summer coaching or holiday comes from the adoption of British Curriculum by some schools in Nigeria, hence the of summer coaching.

Summer in UK is the warmest of the four seasons there and most pupils, learners and students there are always on vacation. Hence the idea of summer vacation. The three other seasons are The autumn, spring, and winter). Summer school is a programme generally sponsored by a school or a private company that provides lessons and other activities for pupils and students to keep them active and vibrant
