An angle is the figure

formed by two rays, called the sides of the

angle, sharing a common endpoint, called

the vertex of the angle.

 

Types of angles

1. Acute Angle:

An angle whose measure is less than 90° is

called an acute angle .

2. Right Angle:

An angle whose measure is 90° is called right

angle .

3. Obtuse Angle:

An angle whose measure is greater than 90° but

less than 180° is called an obtuse

angle .

4. Straight Angle:

An angle whose measure is 180° is called a

 straight

angle .

A straight angle is equal to two right angles.

5. Reflex Angle:

An angle whose measure is more than 180° but

less than 360° is called a reflex angle.

6.Full angle or angle at a point:This is an angle equal to 360 degree exactly.
