Transportation is the act of carrying people, goods or services from one place to another. This is done by different means: road, air or water for road transportation, cars, trucks, buses vans etc are used ships, ferries, boat etc are used for water transportation. Ships are used in transporting heavy cargoes.

 

In the Northern part of Nigeria where development is very slow, animals like donkeys, horses, camels etc are still used for transportation.
