Forms of Farm Animals Based on Functions and Uses

  1. Poultry
    Poultry birds are domesticated birds kept for meat, eggs, and feathers.
    Examples: Domestic fowl, guinea fowl, turkey, geese, ducks.

    Characteristics:

    • Medium body size.
    • Lay eggs (do not give birth to live young ones).
    • Have simple stomachs.
    • Prolific (lay and hatch many eggs).
