Content:
Pupils will learn Yoruba numbers from 1 to 5 through charts, flashcards, picture cards, and interactive activities.
Presentation:
Step 1: Introduction
- Introduce the topic: “Ọ̀ǹkà Yorùbá” (Yoruba Numbers).
- Explain the importance of knowing how to count in Yoruba.
Step 2: Teacher Demonstration
- Show the Yoruba number chart and point to each number from 1 to 5.
- Pronounce each number clearly and have pupils repeat after you.
- Use picture cards to show quantities representing each number.
- Play a Yoruba counting song to make learning fun.
Step 3: Pupil Participation
