1. The Sovereignty of God

  • God’s sovereignty means He has supreme power over all things (Psalm 103:19).
  • He created the universe and controls everything in it.
  • God’s plans cannot be changed by man (Isaiah 46:10).

2. The Creation Story (Genesis 1 & 2)

  • God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh.
  • Man was created in God’s image (Genesis 1:26).
  • Everything God made was good.

3. The Destiny of Man in God’s Creation

  • Man was created to worship and serve God.
  • God gave man dominion over all other creatures (Genesis 1:28).
  • Sin disrupted God’s plan, but salvation through Jesus restores man’s destiny.

4. Man’s Power in Creation

  • Man was given the ability to rule over animals, plants, and the environment.
  • Man has wisdom to create and develop the world.
  • However, man must use power responsibly.

5. Marriage: The Christian Marriage

  • Marriage is a union between a man and a woman as ordained by God (Genesis 2:24).
  • It is meant for companionship, love, and procreation.
  • Christian marriage should be built on love, trust, and faithfulness.
