Lesson Introduction (Set Induction)
Teacher’s Scripted Introduction:
Good morning, children! Today, we are going to learn how to be good Christians. I want you to listen carefully because this lesson will help you know how to treat others with love.
Let me ask you:
Have you ever seen someone who was hurt or needed help?
What did you do?
Did you help them or walk away?
Now, I will tell you a true story from the Bible about a man who was hurt, and how some people walked away, but one man stopped to help him. This story will teach us the difference between a good Christian and a bad Christian.
Let’s listen and learn together — because a real Christian is not just someone who goes to church, but someone who shows love every day, just like Jesus did.
Remember: A Christian shows kindness not only with words, but with actions.
Content Development
1. Bible Story: The Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25–37)
A Jewish man was traveling when robbers attacked him.
They beat him, took his clothes and money, and left him almost dead.
First, a Jewish priest walked by, saw the man, but crossed the road and walked away.
Then, a Levite (another religious man) also saw the hurt man and walked away.
Finally, a Samaritan (a man from a different tribe) came, saw the man, and felt pity.
He cleaned and bandaged his wounds.
Put him on his donkey.
Took him to an inn (hotel) and cared for him.
Paid the innkeeper to continue caring for him.
