Social Institutions are public places that render specific social services like justice , religion or hospitality .
Examples of social institutions in our areas are
Family : This is the smallest social unit in the society . A family is made up of father , mother or mothers and their children . some families have relatives like uncles , aunts , niece or cousins living with them . Family is the smallest social unit . Charity begins at home
Schools : Schools are social institutions where ideas , knowledge , academics and moral values are given to pupils . Pupils are train to be responsible members of the larger society . Schools are places that we read , learn and write .
Hospitals and Clinics : These are centres that are dedicated to health care . We go to clinics or hospital when we are sick . In our various clinics and hospitals , we have dedicated and self motivated
Churches and Mosques : These are places of religion . It is the place of worship the Almighty being. Christians worship in churches and moslems worship in mosques
Palace : A palace is a place where the king lives . The king is the royal father of everybody in his kingdom .
Stadium : A stadium is a place that we perform all sporting activities . We play football and do all types of sporting activities in the stadium . A stadium is a public social place .
Law Court : A court is a place where all legal cases are judged or decided .
Presentation
The topic is presented step by step
Step 1:
The class teacher revises the previous topics
Step 2.
He introduces the new topic
Step 3:
The class teacher allows the pupils to give their own examples and he corrects them when the needs arise
Conclusion
The class teacher wraps up or conclude the lesson by giving out short note to summarize the topic that he or she has just taught.
The class teacher also goes round to make sure that the notes are well copied or well written by the pupils.
He or she does the necessary corrections when and where the needs arise.
