INTRODUCTION
There are various career opportunities in the computer or IT profession as it is commonly referred to now as every area of human activity use it.
Also, most engineering based products have one computer – based device or another working inside it.
CAREERS OPPORTUNITIES IN COMPUTER
There are many careers opportunities in computer, these include:
1. Teaching
To teach at primary, secondary and tertiary levels on how to use computers
2. Computer Programming
To teach students on how to write instructions that can be decoded or understood by computers. These instructions are called programming.
3. Computer Engineering
These are the people that deal with how to arrange, assemble and repair computer hardwares
4. Computer Analysts
These are professionals that work with computers to determine, inspect and analyze programs that work inside a computer system
5. Hardware Maintenance and Support
These people are specialists that are expert when it comes to how to service computer parts
6. Business Analyst
They Offer solution to real life problems by making use of computer software to proffer solutions to business problems.
7. Database Management Support
These are professionals that use computers to store data and information for easy retrieval at a later date. They are likely to be employed by National Bureau Of Statistics in Nigeria, Nigeria national population commission or any organization that process data and information on a very large scale
8. Telecommunications Engineers
These are the people that take care of mobile phones, masts and other telecommunication equipment or gadgets
9. Computer Operations
Computer operator, data entry clerk, librarian, etc. that work daily with the computer.
10. Computer Auditing
To check that the use of the computer is correctly used and they also make sure that security is not breached or compromised

To ensure protection of computer and data.
