How to delete a folder on the desktop:
If you no longer need a file or folder, you can clear up your computer by deleting it. Remember, though, that when you delete a file or folder in Windows or desktop, it’s not really gone. It is moved to the Recycle Bin.
How to get a deleted file or folder:
Windows periodically clean older files from the Recycle Bin, but if you change your mind about a file or folder you deleted, you may still be able to retrieve them by double-clicking on the Recycle Bin icon on the desktop.
Right-click on the file or folder and choose Restore. The file will be restored to wherever it was deleted from.
How to delete a file or folder:
Step 1:
Right-click on the file or folder that you want to delete on the desktop and then choose Delete.
Then a dialogue box appears asking if you are sure you want to delete it. Click Yes to delete the file.
Step 2:
Instead of right-clicking and choosing Delete from the menu, you can click on the folder then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
