How to delete a folder on the desktop:

If you no longer need a file or folder, you can clear up your computer by deleting it. Remember, though, that when you delete a file or folder in Windows or desktop, it’s not really gone. It is moved to the Recycle Bin.

How to get a deleted file or folder:

Windows periodically clean older files from the Recycle Bin, but if you change your mind about a file or folder you deleted, you may still be able to retrieve them by double-clicking on the Recycle Bin icon on the desktop.

Right-click on the file or folder and choose Restore. The file will be restored to wherever it was deleted from.

How to delete a file or folder:

Step 1:

Right-click on the file or folder that you want to delete on the desktop and then choose Delete.

Instead of right-clicking and choosing Delete from the menu, you can click on the folder then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
