TRCN Report: 3,963 Teachers Fail November 2023 PQE
Over 3,963 teachers who participated in the November 2023 Professional Qualifying Examination (PQE) did not pass, according to Prof.
Josiah Ajiboye, the Registrar of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
The TRCN conducted the examination to assess the professional knowledge of teachers across the country.
Out of 15,753 participants at 38 centers, 10,636 passed (72.9%), while 3,963 failed. Some candidates were absent, and others faced result cancellations due to exam malpractices.
Ajiboye assured ongoing efforts to enhance the teaching profession in Nigeria.
