The keyboard is flat.
It has keys on it.
Some of the keys are letters of the alphabets while others are numbers.
Some keys have both the combination of letters and numbers.
They are called alphanumeric keys
The keyboard is an input device.
This means that the keyboard is used to send letters, figures or sentences to the computer
