What is crop production ?

Crop production deals with the combing and bringing together the factors of production which are land , labour, capital and entrepreneur towards rearing of rearing of animals and planting crops for man’s use .

It is the joining together of all resources for the creating of things that will satisfy man’s needs and want.

What are the Factors of Production ?

The factors of production are

  • Land
  • Labour
  • Capital
  • Entrepreneur

 

 

Explain Each Factor of Production 

  • Land : Land is the free gift of nature that is naturally  for rearing of animals and rearing of animals for man’s use .Man may be inherited or purchased for the purpose of agricultural activities like fish farming . animal husbandry or crop production .
  • Labour : This is man’s effort or energy be it physical or mental that is directed towards the creation of agricultural produce for man’ use .
  • Capital: This is the aspect of man’s wealth or personal belongings that he or she has set aside for the creation of ,m ore wealth or resources . Capital may be in form of personal landed prosperity ,motor vehicle . or even cash
  • Entrepreneur : This is the manager of all other factors of production . Without the manager , all other factors of production will just be laying fallow and idle and nothing meaningful will be achieve
