Meaning of culture

Culture is the complete way of life of a group of people.

Culture, therefore, includes the totality of the people’s beliefs, modes of worship, works of art and craft, language, type of food, way of dressing, dancing, festivals, technology, ways of thinking and marriage practices.

For example, the Igbo, Hausa, and Yoruba people of Nigeria do not speak the same native language or dress alike. The other ethnic groups in Nigeria also speak different languages and do things differently.
