Behavioural Objectives : At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to mention or take part in simple exercise
Content :
Pupils can take part in simple exercises to strengthen their body by taking part in simple exercises
Short distance race
At the blast of the whistle or gun to signify ‘Go’:
- Push your body forward on the foot behind the starting line.
- Swing your arms as fast as you can.
- Make sure you keep to your lane.
- Do not look back.
2: Simple jump
The skills involved in the high jump are:
- The run-up
- The take-off
- The flight – bar clearance
- The landing
Presentation
The topic is presented step by step
Step 1:
The class teacher revises the previous topics
Step 2.
He introduces the new topic
Step 3:
The class teacher allows the pupils to give their own examples and he corrects them when the needs arise
Evaluation :
take the pupils outside to the field and practise simple exercises
practice the events of simple jumps short distances race e.g 50 meter. :

Conclusion :
The class teacher wraps up or conclude the lesson by giving out short note to summarize the topic that he or she has just taught.
The class teacher also goes round to make sure that the notes are well copied or well written by the pupils.
He or she does the necessary corrections when and where the needs arise.
