Summer Coaching Assessment Report Primary School
Why We Created the Summer Coaching Assessment Report at Edu Delight Tutors
I remember the first time I sat with a parent after a summer session. The mother, visibly anxious, asked, “Did he improve at all? I mean, I just want to know if the extra lessons made any difference.” And I couldn’t blame her — so many summer programs feel like a blur of worksheets and revision, with no clear way to measure growth.
That was the moment I knew we needed something better — something more accountable, personal, and insightful.
At Edu Delight Tutors, summer coaching isn’t just about keeping kids busy. It’s about sharpening foundational skills, reigniting curiosity, and preparing learners — mentally and emotionally — for the next academic chapter. But without proper assessment, how do we measure any of that?
That’s why we designed the Summer Coaching Assessment Report — not just as a scorecard, but as a conversation starter between teachers, learners, and parents. It’s structured to reflect not only what was taught, but how well it was understood.
In fact, just last term, we had a Primary 4 pupil who had struggled with Quantitative Aptitude during the regular term. Through targeted summer sessions, and with one-on-one intervention, he scored 85/100 — a personal best that left both his parents and his class teacher beaming. The summer report captured that growth, and it motivated him to walk into the new school year with confidence.
