  3. Ṣe afihàn bí ọmọdé àti àgbàlagbà ṣe ń kí ara wọn – Demonstrate how children and adults greet each other.

  1. Pàtàkì ìkíni ni ilẹ Yorùbá:
    • Ìkíni jẹ́ àṣà pàtàkì nítorí pé ó ń fihan ìbòwò àti àkọ́wọlé.
    • Ìkíni ṣe é gbà pé àwọn tí ó dára ati ọ̀rẹ́.
  2. Oríṣi Ìkíni àti Ìdáhùn rẹ̀:
    • Owurọ: “Ẹ káàárọ o.” | “Báwo ni?” | “A dúpẹ.”
    • Ọ̀sán: “Ẹ kàsán o.” | “Báwo ni?” | “A dúpẹ.”
    • Irọlẹ: “Ẹ kú irọlẹ o.” | “Báwo ni?” | “A dúpẹ.”
    • Alẹ: “Ẹ káalẹ o.” | “Báwo ni?” | “A dúpẹ.”
  3. Bí ọmọdé àti àgbàlagbà ṣe ń kí ara wọn:
    • Ọmọkùnrin yóó dobalẹ̀ (prostrate) fún àgbàlagbà.
    • Ọmọbìnrin yóó kúnlẹ̀ (kneel) fún àgbàlagbà.

Presentation:

Step 1: The teacher revises the previous topic, “Nkan inu yara ikawé.”

Step 2: The teacher introduces the new topic by explaining the importance of greetings in Yoruba culture.

Step 3: The teacher shows pictures of different Yoruba greetings and their responses, and demonstrates how boys and girls greet elders.
