Content:

Definition: Yawmal-Qiyaamah is the Islamic belief in the Day of Judgment or the life after death. Muslims believe that every person will be resurrected and judged based on their deeds in this life.

Significance of Belief in Yawmal-Qiyaamah:

  1. Accountability: This belief reinforces the idea that every action in this world is recorded, and people are accountable for their deeds.
  2. Moral Conduct: Belief in the afterlife encourages good moral conduct and ethical behavior.

Articles of Faith: In Islam, there are six Articles of Faith that every Muslim believes. One of them is belief in the life after death. This means that Muslims believe in a life after this one.

Death as Sleeping: You can think of death as similar to sleeping. Just like you wake up after sleeping, Muslims believe that after death, people will be resurrected or brought back to life.

Resurrection: Resurrection means people will be brought back to life after death. In Islam, it’s believed that on the Day of Judgment (Yawmal-Qiyaamah), everyone will be resurrected, and God will judge their actions in this life.

Relating Death and Resurrection: Just as you wake up after sleep, Muslims believe that after death, people will be resurrected and will face judgment based on how they lived. Good deeds will lead to a happy life in the Hereafter, and bad deeds will lead to consequences.

Judgment: God will judge all people based on their actions. Those who did good deeds will be rewarded, while those who did bad deeds will face consequences.
