Teaching of the new words and reading

  1. Say the word carefully and let the pupils repeat them after you slowly, carefully and gently
  2. Write the word out boldly on the board and let one of them touch the words as you read aloud and the recite the words with you
  3. Show students how to recognize new words. and pronounce the word by breaking them down into syllables
  4. Reinforce them to remember new words by continuously reading reciting and say the new words by using them in sentences
  5. Have them use their new words in sentences
  6. Get graphics organizers or wall charts that show the usages of these new words

 

 

II) Oral and written comprehension

The galaxy is huge and they are made up of billions of stars. Some people believe that there are living creatures out there in the galaxy. These living creatures are said to be alien. Aliens are super creatures that have special abilities or powers that are beyond human comprehension
