- Regulatory codes or signs : These codes are used on the high ways to conduct the ways and Manners that both the pedestrians and the motorists behave on the highways. Examples of regulatory codes are

- Warning Signs or Symbols : These highway codes are used to give dire instructions to road users in respect of things that they must take precaution, heed or warnings. Examples of such highway codes are
