The TIVs are part of Benue State Nigeria.

A long long time ago, when the TIVs were a small tribe.

They lived on a land which was rich and fertile.

They were contented and lived in peace. The people in the neighbouring village were jealous of them and so they made big trouble with them and waged wars against them.

One day, the enemies came with the purpose of killing the TIVs in order to steal their land, cattle, and properties, but one of the TIVs who saw the enemies coming through the bush quickly ran to inform them.

The TIVs, not being strong enough to fight, hurriedly gathered their things together and fled for their lives.
