Format For Writing Lesson Notes
Here is a sample lesson note format for teachers:
- Date:Â The date of the lesson.
- Class:Â The class or grade level.
- Subject:Â The subject of the lesson.
- Topic:Â The topic of the lesson.
- Sub-topic:Â The sub-topic of the lesson.
- Time:Â The time the lesson will begin.
- Duration:Â The length of the lesson.
- Period/Day:Â The period or day the lesson will be taught.
- Reference Book(s):Â The book(s) used as reference material.
- Instructional Material(s):Â The materials used to teach the lesson.
- Entry Behaviour:Â The behaviour of the students at the beginning of the lesson.
- Behavioural Objectives:Â The objectives the teacher expects to achieve at the end of the lesson.
- Instructional Procedure:Â The steps the teacher will take to teach the lesson.
- Content:Â The content of the lesson.
- Summary/Conclusion:Â A summary of the lesson and its conclusion.
- Evaluation: The evaluation of the students’ understanding of the lesson.
