A lot of children have problem with mathematics but adopting these simple techniques will soon make mathematics simple and fun or better still, your best subject. If you don’t understand a topic, focus on mastering it before moving on to the next topic. Work out the problem that have answers at the end of the textbook and check each one only after solving the problem. Begin to solve a math’s problem by first writing down the question, then begin to solve it one step at a time and write down each step. Find a quiet place to study on your own. Always work problems vertically, with one step at each time. If the problem requires it, draw a diagram for the problem. Finally develop self-confidence, because in mathematics, confidence is the name of the game.
