Behavioural Objectives :  By the end of the lesson, the learners will be able to

  • say simple behaviours
  • give examples of simple acceptable good behaviuors
  • say attitudes that amount to simple behaviours

 

Content :

Behaviours are attitudes that are expected of us . It is the way we behave ,  interact and deal with ourselves and others in the public or in private . These are also behaviours that are expected of us when we are in school or when we are at homes

 

Acceptable Good Social Behaviours .

  1. Do not run up and down within the school compound
  2. Always line up and wait for your  turns
  3. Do not tell lies
  4. Always do your class work and do not be lazy
  5. Be polite and respectful .
  6. Join queues
  7. Always smile
  8. Do not plat rough and dirty
  9. Do not shout at others
  10. Do not use bad , foul or dirty words to describe others

 

Presentation

The topic is presented step by step

 

Step 1:

The class teacher revises the previous topics

 

Step 2.

He introduces the new topic

 

Step 3:

The class teacher allows the pupils to give their own examples and he corrects them when the needs arise

 

Evaluation :

  1. Encourage young learners to interact with each others
  2. The pupils may shape or hug each others
  3. Make the pupils to say two or three good social behaviuors that are expected of them

 

Conclusion :

 

The class teacher wraps up or conclude the lesson by giving out short note to summarize the topic that he or she has just taught.

The class teacher also goes round to make sure that the notes are well copied or well written by the pupils.

He or she does the necessary corrections when and where  the needs arise.
