Content :
Eating habits are the rules and regulations that must be obeyed always whenever we are at the table for eating. The more and more we obey these rules, the more we get ourselves familiar with the rules and hence they become our habits.
The kids eat food every day. Let them know that it is not every food that is healthy for them. Make them understand that the quality of food they eat is what will determine how they look, their behaviour, their intelligence and their overall life.
What are the rules that must be obeyed at the table
- Always wash your hands before eating
- Always wash your hands after eating.
- Do not talk while eating.
- Chew your food with your mouth closed while eating
- We must eat little or no sugary food because sugar is not good for our body.
If they eat well, they grow well. If they eat well, they will not fall sick.
Tell them that establishing healthy eating habit helps them to be focused, sleep better, learn fast and remember well. Let the kids know that food is the fuel that powers our body and brain. Just as a car or generator needs fuel to work, the body needs food to think, play and move. When they fill up their tanks with healthy food options, they will have high energy and the brain will work fast and well.
What is food?
Food is any substance we take into our body to sustain life, maintain life, nourish life, give us energy and make us grow.
