Hello, Grade 1 Pupils! 📚 Today, we’ll learn about some important words that are like superpowers for being good people. These words are called “virtues.” Let’s start!

1. Honesty 🤝

  • Honesty means telling the truth, even when it’s hard.
  • Example: If you break something by mistake, you say, “I’m sorry, I broke it.” That’s honesty!

2. Patriotism 🇳🇬

  • Patriotism means loving your country and wanting to make it better.
  • Example: When you proudly sing the national anthem 🎶, you’re showing patriotism!

3. Tolerance 🤝

  • Tolerance means being kind and accepting of people who are different from you.
  • Example: If your friend likes different games than you, it’s okay! You play together and learn from each other.

4. Cooperation 🤝

  • Cooperation means working together as a team to achieve something.
  • Example: When you and your classmates help clean up the classroom, you’re cooperating!

5. Self-Reliance 🧰

  • Self-reliance means being able to do things on your own when you can.
