Special days are unique days of celebration that we celebrate people or events that are of great importance to us.
Special Days In Nigeria
In Nigeria, we have holidays for special occasions and events in our country.
- New year day celebration (Jan 1st)
- Valentine day (Feb 14)
- Good Friday
- Easter
- Workers day (May 1st)
- Children’s day (May 27th)
- Id el Fitr (End of Ramadan)
- Id el Kabir (Feast of Sacrifice)
- Independence Day
- Id el Maulud (Birth of the Prophet Muhammad)
- Democracy day (June 12)
- Christmas (25th December)
- Boxing day (26th December)
Class Activities
- The class teacher makes the pupils to mention any special day that they can remember
- Pupils are made to know the need to respect these special and unique days or events
- Teacher may compose songs for the pupils in respect of the special days and events

The topic is presented step by step
Step 1:
The class teacher revises the previous topics
Step 2.
He introduces the new topic
Step 3:
The class teacher allows the pupils to give their own examples and he corrects them when the needs arise
Conclusion
The class teacher wraps up or conclude the lesson by giving out short note to summarize the topic that he or she has just taught.
The class teacher also goes round to make sure that the notes are well copied or well written by the pupils.
He or she does the necessary corrections when and where the needs arise.
