What is the meaning of public campaign  ?

.Public campaign is a process of bringing into the awareness of the public urgent health matters that are of public importance . This campaign is aimed at achieving a particular goal like creating awareness on issues that are of public matters

 

What are the Needs For Public Campaign 

  • It brings into the awareness of the citizen the existence of a pandemic like covid 19
  • It makes citizens to know the protective measures that they must take in order to protect themselves in the case of public health issues
  • Citizens are educated on how and where to get medical help just in case there may be reasons for that
  • Public campaign enhances mutual understanding between the government and the governed because it is a channel for communication
  • Public campaign makes the members of the public to know the locations of government medical facilities like primary health centres so that they can make use of such facilities

 

 

Examples of topics on which this type of campaign can be made like HIV / AIDS Awareness

  • HIV means Human Immunodeficiency Virus
  • AIDS means Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome
  • We must not share sharp objects with others so that we will not have AIDS
  • If we have unexplainable weight loss , we should go for check up
  • Do not have unprotected sex
  • If you have reoccurring fever , go for check up
  • Seek help

  • Drug abuse means taking drugs without doctors advice
  • Drug abuse is wrong
  • Drug abuse may lead to mental illness
  • It may lead to loss of job
  • Pupils and students should nit abuse drugs
  • Drug abuse may lead to violent behaviour
  • It may lead to death

Step 3:

The class teacher allows the pupils to give their own examples and he corrects them when the needs arise

 

 

Conclusion

The class teacher wraps up or conclude the lesson by giving out short note to summarize the topic that he or she has just taught.

The class teacher also goes round to make sure that the notes are well copied or well written by the pupils.

He or she does the necessary corrections when and where  the needs arise.
