Meaning of Drugs

Drugs are medicine

Drugs are taken when we are sick

Drugs may be solid

Drugs maybe liquid

Some drugs are in powder forms

Drugs in solid forms are called tablets

Drugs in liquid forms are called syrups

Other drugs are in capsules

Examples of drugs are 

Paracetamol

Daga

Dettol

Hand sanitizer

Yeastar

Elar Vit E

 

Categories mean the major classifications of drugs

Drugs may be classified as

legal drugs or illegal drugs

 

Legal Drugs : These are the socially and professionally accepted and recognized drugs that are used by professionals like doctors , nurses or pharmacist  to prevent or treat diseases or illness

 

Illegal Drugs : These are drugs that are not legally approved for usage in the country . These drugs are usually smuggled into the country by drug baron or drug traffickers

 

 

Presentation :

The Topic is presented step by step

Step 1 : The class teacher revises the previous topics with them pupils

Step 2 : The class teacher introduces the new topic to the pupils

Step 3 : The class teacher allows the pupils to give their own contributions and he or she corrects the pupils when the needs arise
