Comprehension Passage: Adewale at the Amusement Park

Adewale was very excited because today was his birthday, and his family was taking him to the amusement park! He had been looking forward to this day for weeks. The amusement park had many fun rides and games.

When Adewale and his family arrived, they saw colorful decorations everywhere. The park was filled with happy children and families. Adewale’s eyes widened with amazement at the sight of all the exciting rides.

First, Adewale went on the giant Ferris wheel. It was so tall that when they reached the top, they could see the whole park below. Adewale felt like he was floating in the air. He looked at his mom and dad and smiled, enjoying the view.

Next, they tried the bumper cars. Adewale laughed as he bumped into his dad’s car. It was so much fun! They all enjoyed driving around and bumping into each other.

After that, Adewale wanted to go on the roller coaster. It was a fast ride with lots of twists and turns. Adewale felt a little nervous at first, but once the ride started, he screamed with excitement. It was the best ride of the day!

For lunch, Adewale and his family ate delicious food like hot dogs, fries, and ice cream. They sat on a picnic bench and talked about their favorite rides so far.

In the afternoon, Adewale played some carnival games. He won a small toy by tossing a ring onto a bottle. He was very happy and showed the toy to his little sister.

As the day ended, Adewale and his family took a relaxing boat ride. They floated gently on the water and watched the beautiful sunset. Adewale felt very happy and grateful for such a fun day.
