Passage:
Trade is the activity of buying and selling or the exchange of goods and services between people or countries. In the past, people practiced barter trade. Barter is a form of trade in which goods, property, services, etc., are exchanged for other goods, etc., without the use of money. In recent times, we talk about domestic or home trade and international or foreign trade.
Domestic trade takes place within a country. International trade takes place between two or more countries. It has two divisions: export and import.
Export involves selling and sending goods to another country, while import refers to a product or service that is brought into a country from another.
