- Transliteration: Waḍ-ḍuḥā (1) Wa-allayli idhā sajā (2) Mā wadda’aka rabbuka wa-mā qalā (3) Wa-lal-ākhiratu khayrun laka mina-l-ūlā (4) Wa-lasawfa yu’tīka rabbuka fatarḍā (5) Alam yajidka yatīmān fa-awā (6)
- English Translation:
- “By the morning brightness, And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge?” (Quran 93:1-6)
