1. The Story of Jacob and Esau
Jacob and Esau were twin brothers, the sons of Isaac and Rebekah. Esau, the older brother, was a hunter and loved by their father Isaac. Jacob, the younger brother, was a quiet man who stayed at home and was loved by their mother, Rebekah.
One day, Esau came back from hunting very hungry and asked Jacob for food. Jacob offered him food only if Esau would sell him his birthright. Esau agreed. Later, Jacob tricked Isaac into giving him the blessing meant for Esau.
Because of this, Esau was very angry and planned to harm Jacob. Jacob ran away to another land. Many years later, Jacob returned to meet Esau. Esau forgave Jacob, and they lived peacefully together again.
