What is money? Money is the currency that we use to buy goods and services. Money is also used to settle debts and pay for medical bill. Money is also used as a measure of wealth and store of wealth . We also use money to provide ourselves with basic necessity of life which are food , clothing and shelter.
What is wealth? Wealth is the abundance of money and material possession. It is the accumulation of large amount of money , expanse of land and material possession .
Money is essential to human and God is the giver of money and wealth. We as human should make money through the right means and be contented with whatever God provides for us.
USES OF MONEY AND WEALTH
The following are ways we use money and wealth
- To serve God
- To pay tithes
- To give offering to God
- To give contribute to church projects.
- to pay medical bills
- to pay for electricity bill
- to pay for phone bill
- To pay for transportation fare
- for celebrations like birthday parties
- To pay for school fees
- To solve basic needs like Food needs
- Clothes
- shelter
- To serve other people
- To give gifts to our loved ones.
- To help the beggars
- To give to charity organizations
- To give to our parents, guardians and relation
- To have comfort
- To take care of our health.
- To pay for education

Dangers of Excessive Love of Money and Wealth
The following are the dangers of excessive love of money and wealth.
- It takes away the love of God from our hearts.
- It will bring destruction.
- It will lead to wrong desire.
- It makes us to lie.
- It leads to stealing
- It could lead to crime.
- It make us wicked
- Make us violent
- Lead to dishonesty
- It leads to ritual killing

THE RIGHT ATTITUDE TO MONEY
The following are the right attitude toward money
- We should love God who is the giver of wealth instead of loving money.
- We should be moderate in the manner we look for money.
- We should separate ourselves from excessive love of money.
Prayers: O lord, give us the grace to love you before money, in Jesus name. Amen.
