Content :
Gender discrimination is the way people are treated because of their gender or sex. It is denying someone his or her right just because that person is a male or female. This act is not limited to any gender because it can be observed in both males and females. People may want to discriminate about the gender of a person because of their religious, personal or cultural beliefs.
Gender discrimination refers to the practice of treating someone unfairly because of their gender. This can include unequal pay, biased hiring practices, lack of opportunities or support for career advancement, or unequal treatment in terms of benefits, privileges, or respect. Gender discrimination can occur against people of any gender, but it is most often experienced by women and people who are gender non-conforming or transgender. It is a form of prejudice and can have serious negative impacts on an individual’s well-being and opportunities in life.

- Healthcare: Gender discrimination can occur in the healthcare system through unequal access to care or through biased treatment by healthcare providers.
- Public accommodations: Gender discrimination can occur in places such as restaurants, stores, or hotels through unequal treatment or access to services.
- Transportation: Gender discrimination can occur in the transportation system through unequal access to transportation or through harassment or bias on public transportation.

CONSEQUENCES OF GENDER DISCRIMINATION:
