What is value? 

Value is that good thing that we hold in high esteem that we love and cherish that guide our behaviour and interaction with other people.

 

 

 

What is a community?

A community is a group of people that are living closely together in a particular area with the aim of maintaining peaceful relationships and coexistence with one another

 

 

 

What are the examples of good values that are expected of everyone in the community? 

These are the examples of good values that build a very good peaceful coexistence in a community.

Give 2 examples of Community.

  1. Rural communities : These communities are mostly made up rural dwellers especially from the villages. The atmosphere of rural communities are always serene, quite, calm and cool. Most villagers in the rural area have access to fresh fruits, vegetables and other benefits like fresh undiluted palm wine
  2. Urban communities : This term is used to refer to people that live in major cities. Most of these people are well educated with white collar jobs and some don’t have white collar jobs. Lives in the cities is regular hustling and bustling from dawn to dusk. Noise, air and land pollution are common scenes in some cities. Most cities are already filled up and yet some people are still coming from villages to cities.

 

 

Meaning of values

 

Values are what shape our beliefs, ideas or philosophy about good behavior or bad habits and what things are important in life .

 

It is also the basic and fundamental belief that guide or motivate attitude or actions.

 

Types of values

 

Family values : These are what we belief as a family. What good name our family is all about. What do we uphold and strongly belief as a family.

Moral values : These are the principles that guide the fundamentals of our good behavior with friends, family and relatives and others

Spiritual values : These values are clearly written in our holy books. They form the narratives for our dealings with The Almighty God and Other fellow human beings

Professional values : These are job ethics, rules and regulations that are already decided by management of our organization that we must abide by in order to move forward

 

Community values are the basic guide or beliefs of a group of people on how to live, interact with one another and what is important to them. Examples of community values include

 

Culture: Culture is the arts, customs, lifestyles, background and habits of a community or nation.

Beliefs are unique, strange and at times they are  feeling of certainty that something exist.

Ethics: These are the moral principles that governor a person’s behaviour.

Norms: They are unwritten rules that are accepted in a society.

Step 1:

The class teacher revises the previous topics

 

Step 2.

He introduces the new topic

 

Step 3:

The class teacher allows the pupils to give their own examples and he corrects them when the needs arise

 

 

Conclusion

The class teacher wraps up or conclude the lesson by giving out short note to summarize the topic that he or she has just taught.

The class teacher also goes round to make sure that the notes are well copied or well written by the pupils.

He or she does the necessary corrections when and where  the needs arise.
