Various Ways Of Obeying Traffic Rules And Regulations On Our Major Roads And Highways
- Just as humans get tired and exhausted, and need médical attentions from doctors, vehicles also get old and parts do wear out, hence there is a need for proper and regular maintenance of our vehicles to make them road worthy and reduce the occurrence of accident due to bad tyres or brake failure
- Although zebras are not always seeing crossing the road in most of our roads but those lines drawn on major of our roads simply means that motorists must stop or slow down for pedestrians to cross the road. That is the main purpose of zebra crossing
- Speed kills. Collusion of vehicles may lead to the death of the drivers that are involved if the two drivers that are involved overspend . That is one of the reasons that motorists and drivers should not exceed the appropriate or recommended speed limit. The speedometer is always there to help us to monitor our speed limit when we are driving
- Double parking on narrow roads must be discouraged because this makes it difficult for other motorists and road users to use the road.
- Commercial bus drivers (danfo) should always pick up or drop passengers at designated bus stops to ease the flow of traffic on the road
- We must also respect and obey traffic rules like no parking, no u turn, one way, no right turn etc to ease the flow of traffic on our major roads in order to avoid hazard or obstruction
