Content:

WATER

i) What is Water?

  • Water is a liquid that we drink every day.
  • It is clear and has no color.
  • We need water to stay healthy and strong.

ii) Sources of Water:

  • Rain 🌧️: Water that falls from the sky.
  • Rivers 🏞️: Long streams of water that flow.
  • Lakes 🏞️: Big areas of water surrounded by land.
  • Wells ⛲: Deep holes in the ground where we can get water.
  • Taps 🚰: Water that comes into our homes from pipes.

iii) Uses of Water:

  • Drinking 🥤: We drink water to stay healthy.
  • Bathing 🛁: We use water to keep our bodies clean.
  • Cooking 🍳: We use water to cook food.
  • Cleaning 🧽: We use water to wash dishes, clothes, and our homes.
  • Watering plants 🌱: We give water to plants to help them grow.

Water is very important, and we must use it wisely.

Presentation :

  1. Revision: The teacher revises the previous topic on sense organs and their importance. The teacher asks questions like, “What do we use our eyes for?”
  2. Introduction: The teacher introduces the new topic, water. The teacher explains that water is a liquid we drink, and it is very important for us.
