Comparing weights of objects

The weights of objects is defined as the heaviness or lightness of objects.
We can compare weights of objects by lifting them up to know which is heavier or lighter.

Instruments used for measuring weights of objects

The instruments used for measuring weights of objects are:

  1. Simple balance scale: The simple balance scale is used to compare the weights of two objects at the same time.
  2. The weighing pan scale: This is used for weighing objects in the market or coldroom where frozen foods are sold.e.g fish, chicken, etc.
  3. The bathroom scale:This is used to measure the weights of children.The weights of children can be measured by stepping bare footedly on the bathroom scale.

Comparison of weights:
We compare weights of objects by lifting them up to know which is heavier or lighter.

Example,The bucket of water is heavier than the packet of pencils.
