Content :

A force is needed to make an object to move an initial position to a final position. A force can either be a pull or a push. Force is needed to do almost everyday activities in life.

Examples of instances where force is needed.

Force is needed to open the supermarket door which they always write push or pull. Force is needed to move large box, stone, cupboard, teacher’s table, to pull the stubborn goat

Force is needed to push daddy’s car that suddenly refused to move, Please take note that force can be either a pull or a push

 

Effects of Forces

  1. It makes objects to start moving

  2. It makes objects to stop moving

  3. It makes objects to change its direction

 

Types of Forces

  1. Frictional Force
  2. Gravitational Force
  3. Mechanical Force
  4. Magnetic Force

Note that a pull makes an object to move very close to you

A push makes an object to move away from you

Presentation

The topic is presented step by step

 

Step 1: The class teacher revises the previous topics

Step 3: The class teacher allows the pupils to give their own examples and he corrects them when the needs arise
