Moral responsibility of showing unselfish love to others

God wants us to show love to others. It is our moral responsibility to show unselfish love to others by telling the truth. We must be open-minded. We should do for others what we want them to do for us. We must not be selfish. Thinking of other people’s progress and success will always give us success and progress. We take good care of others when we help them during the time of their need. We should support others at the time when they need our support. We can share gifts with people, and help our friends that are in need.

The love between Jonathan and David

David was the son of Jesse who fought Goliath and killed him with a stone. He was asked to live in Saul’s house so that he would play the harp for him because an evil spirit took control of Saul. One day, Saul wanted to kill David with a spear but God saved David.Jonathan was the son of Saul. He liked David and became his best friend. Jonathan and David promised each other that they would be loyal friends for ever. Jonathan gave his clothes, swords, bows and ar￾rows, and his belt to David. Jonathan gave the robe that he was wear￾ing to David because he loved him as he loved his own soul. Saul told Jonathan and his officers to kill David, but Jonathan pleaded on behalf of David that there was no reason for David to be killed.

One day, David asked Jonathan, ‘Why does your father, Saul want to kill me? What have I done?’ Jonathan told him that he would not die.

The two friends made a plan together. Jonathan asked David to go and hide himself at the other side of a rock. He promised to shoot three are Jonathan and David rows at the other side of the rock. If it was safe to stay, he would give him a sign, but if not, he would ask him to run away.

David did as Jonathan advised. He hid at the side of the rock. Jonathan took a servant boy with him. He shot three arrows at the side of the rock. He told the boy that the arrow was at his front, showing a sign that David should run for his life because his father wanted to kill him. So Jonathan saved the life of David.

Helping a friend in need

A friend in need is a friend indeed. A true friend should be able to help his friend at the time of need. When Saul wanted to kill David, Jonathan saved the life of David. We can give food to those that are hungry. We should not be self￾ish. When you help a friend who is in need, whenever you find yourself in need, God will bring a helper to you.

The love that should exist among people

There should be love among people. The love should be unselfish love. Pupils should learn to help those in need. People that are in danger should be helped. Pupils should learn to protect one another. We are to be our brother’s keeper. We should share things among our friends. We are to share our food with those that are hungry. We should show love to the sick and the handicapped.
