Read the comprehension passage and answer the questions that follow
In the olden days; all the animals lived together in the bush. They shared everything and held regular meetings to settle quarrels. Then one year; there was a famine. There were no yam, no maize, no food. The men in the village hunted more animals than usual. They killed the animals and took their car cases to the town. The people in the town did not have any yam, plantain or maize, so they ate more meat. Soon the animals became afraid, who will be the next to die; they asked each other. They called a meeting.
“I have an idea” said Mr. Fox at the meeting. When the hunters go to town to sell the animals; they leave their guns in their homes, collect their guns and throw them into the river.
All the animals agreed to the plan, but the dog was a friend of one of the hunters. He ran to the hunter and told him about other animals plan.
The hunter told all the other men and they decided to carry their guns with them when they went to the town.
When the hunter had gone, the animals went into their homes but they did not find any guns. Who told the hunter to take their guns with them? They asked. They decided to consult the oracle. The oracle said that it was the dog. They said that he could not live in the bush with them. So the dog went to live with the hunter.
