Harmful farm insects are those insects that destroy crop plant by reducing the vegetative part such as the leaves and also reducing the crop quality resulting into low income to the farmers.

 

Examples of harmful insect are: Grasshopper, mosquito, bee, weevil, beetle, tsetsefly, etc.
