Example
5 take away 2
Count 5 and remove 2 = 3

1.) 6 – 2 =
2.) 8 – 3 =
3.) 9 – 7 =
4.) 8 – 5 =
5.) 9 – 6 =

Open sentences

Find the missing number in an open sentences
Example
7+( ) = 9
Count 9 take 7, your answer will be 2,

5 +( )=8
Count 8 take away 5, your answer will be 3

6.) 2 + [ ] = 6
7.) 13 + [ ] = 15
8.) 16 + [ ] = 17
9.) 10 – [ ] = 9
10. 8 – [ ] = 6
