Below are the recommended hairstyles for each week of the 1st term of the 2024/2025 session:
- Week 1: Free Hairstyle
Pupils are allowed to style their hair in any neat and appropriate hairstyle of their choice. - Week 2: Evelyn-King
A simple and classic style that involves parting the hair in sections and braiding neatly downwards. - Week 3: Concord
A traditional braid style where the hair is braided in a circular pattern from the crown of the head. - Week 4: Two-Step
A braided hairstyle where the hair is divided into two layers. The upper layer is braided differently from the lower layer for a unique look. - Week 5: June 12
This is a low braid style that commemorates June 12, a significant date in Nigerian history. - Week 6: To Shuku
A popular style where the hair is braided straight up into a high bun or ponytail. - Week 7: Police Cap
A flat, neatly braided style that resembles the shape of a police cap, giving a sleek and formal appearance. - Week 8: All Back
A basic yet stylish braid where all the hair is braided straight back towards the nape of the neck. - Week 9: Two-Patewo
In this style, two flat braids are created on either side of the head, resembling the shape of hands clapping (Patewo in Yoruba). - Week 10: Alicia Keys
Inspired by the famous singer, this style involves creative cornrows with unique patterns and beads for decoration. - Week 11: Banana Leaf
A braid pattern that mimics the shape of a banana leaf, with curving rows that create a leaf-like appearance. - Week 12: Feathers
A stylish braid where thin sections of the hair are braided to create a lightweight, feathery appearance. - Week 13: Free Hairstyle
Pupils are once again allowed to wear any neat and tidy hairstyle of their choice for the final week of the term.
