Resources are the things that we use to produce items we need.

Natural Resources

Natural resources are things that can be found in nature and are valuable to human beings.

Examples of natural resources are iron, limestone and cocoa.

These resources can be used to make different kinds of products.

Human Resources

People have different kinds of abilities. Some people are good at taking care of people, so they become doctors and nurses.

Other people are good at drawing, so they become artists. Lawyer, teacher, police, etc. All these people use their abilities to work and make money.

They are human resources.

Raw Materials

Raw materials are resources used for producing other goods. When cassava is used to make garri, cassava is called a raw material.

Other types of resources include money and equipment.

Here are some of the ways our resources can be developed.

1. Oil is made into petrol and Diesel that we use to run our cars and generators.

2. Minerals such as tin and iron are used to make our cars, chairs and tables.

3. We use raw material like cocoa to make chocolate.

4. We use wood from trees to make furniture.d
