Mineral resources are free gifts of nature. There are freely deposited in earth that what we have to do is just start digging them up and clean them or refine them as the case may be before we start using them .
Nigeria is a country that is endowed with so many natural liquified and solid natural resources .
Examples of Natural resources that can be found in Nigeria are
Gold
Diamond
Crude oil
Natural gas
Tin
Iron
Ore
Coal
Most Natural Mineral Resources can be used as raw materials in industries . They can be converted from one form to another .
Nigeria is also blessed with agricultural produce which can be used as raw materials in industries . Exampls of these agricultural produce are

Palm oil
Agricultural resources have two major classifications which are
Food crops and
Cash crops
Food crops : These are crops that are grown specifically for consumption . These farm produce are eaten by the farmers . Examples of food crops are
tomatoes

vegetables

plantain
yam
carrot
Cash Crops : These are crops that are grown by farmers for the purpose of making sales . cash crops are cultivated for sales . The main reason for cultivating cash crops is to yield income for the farmers.

Nigeria is blessed with many natural resources .We need to manage them and get the best out of them . We need to pay more attention to agriculture in order to boost our economy . many people have abandoned farming because of the boom that is in the oil and gas industries. We need to balance the eco system so that the boom will not become doom
